Three Root Molar Extractors

These three-pronged extractors are specifically designed to remove molars in
aged horses that have very little crown. They are also useful for removing
deciduous premolar caps in young horses. They are available in two
configurations; right and left (which refers to the side that has the single
tooth when it is viewed tooth side up from the front). They are normally used
with the single prong to the lingual side of the tooth. For complete
instrumentation it is recommended they be purchased in pairs.
These extractors are made of stainless steel and are 19" in length with
knurled handles. And, unlike cheaper copies, they have a box joint for extra
strength.

Gary’s Cap Extractors

These cap extractors are modifications of two of the most functional and
popular cap extractors ever made - the Reynold’s and Gowing’s. They offer
increased dexterity to easily remove even the most difficult teeth. Both
extractors are imported from England and made of stainless steel.
The Upper Extractor is patterned after the Reynold’s but with the
"hooks" and "horns" removed. Also, the curvature of the
handles has been modified to improve the grip and add leverage. The result is a
forceps which is lighter, more versatile in reaching hard to get caps and which
can be used in either hand. It is approximately 14" in overall length.
The Lower Extractor is patterned after the Gowing’s but has been modified
to improve its grip and balance. It is approximately 15 1/2" in
overall length.

Capp's Extractor
Our Capp's Extractor has serrated jaws and is similar to a Hewson's
Extractor. However, it has straight
handles and a larger head (3/4" long by 1" wide) that makes it more of a

in the USA of stainless steel and features a box jaw. It is available with and
without a built-in, adjustable fulcrum for improved leverage. The model
pictured above has a fulcrum.

Our Standard Fulcrum has two different sized heads that are small and
thin enough to fit easily into the arcade. They are slightly offset from ninety
degrees to allow easier placement by an assistant. The two heads can be used in
either side of the jaw and allow for either 1/2" or 3/4" elevations.
The fulcrum is made of stainless steel and measures 19" overall.

Our Three-Headed Fulcrum has three exchangeable heads of different
sizes to give the practitioner a wide choice of extracting angles. The heads
swivel for ease of placement on the arcade and slide easily off the body when
they need to be changed. The body of the fulcrum measures 14" long and has
a ball handle on one to provide a secure grip. It is made of stainless steel.
The fulcrum heads measure 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" high and are made
from brass to minimize enamel chipping. The have a broad flat base to engage
more than one tooth at a time and can be used on all arcades.
